Cheng Pin wins seven-day Portugal golf excursion

LOO CHENG PIN won the top prize in the grand final of the Visa Infinite Golf Invitational at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club recently.

Cheng Pin returned with 40 stableford points and won himself a seven-day, six-night golfing excursion to Portugal to participate in the Lisbon Cup, a golf tournament organised specially by Emirates, inclusive of return air passage and accommodations, courtesy of Emirates.

Wong Sak Kian was second on 39 points and was rewarded with a golfing holiday at the Angkor Golf Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

The grand final was a culmination of a three-leg circuit.

This year?s grand final featured a charity element as the golfers were given the opportunity to contribute to a good cause while playing the game they love.

Visa made a RM52,000 contribution to World Vision Malaysia on behalf of the top three teams.

This donation will go towards World Vision?s financial literacy training programs for underprivileged women in some of the country?s rural areas.

Visa Malaysia country manager Stuart Tomlinson said they were delighted to be able to work with World Vision Malaysia and provide financial literacy education to Malaysians.
