We are hiring a?VoIP Embedded Software Developer?to create software requirements and design functional descriptions. The developer will also add VoIP features to various products. Additional details are as follows:
Required Education:
BS, MS, or PhD in one of the following:
- Electrical Enginneering
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
Required Skills:
2 years of experience in embedded software including:
- Development
- Testing
- Troubleshooting
Experience with Linux systems
Experience with Embedded Linux operating systems
Experience in voice communications
Proficient in C, C++, and OOP
Understand computer architecture
Familiarity with RTOSes
Knowledge of data and voice communication protocols including:
Experience with data and voice communication test equpitment and methodologies
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of another programming language
Able to work individually and in a team environment
Excellent oral, written and listening skills to effectively communicate on technical topicsExposure to the requirements of working within a regulated industry
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl or Ruby
