Nate Berkus' recent Elle Decor.com feature on how to set the perfect table inspires a great Mother's Day idea. Skip the overpriced restaurants and just be the hostess with the mostest this Sunday with a stunning table.

Berkus goes through everything from picking the right linens (contrast is good) to creating the best centerpiece (make sure it's not too tall). But his most important advice? There's no need to make things complicated -- just use what you have and don't try to make everything so uniform. "Let go of the worry of everything matching and embrace the idea of everything coordinating," Berkus said.
